Restart a Heart

Student Leaders at Dixons Cottingley Academy supported a local initiative when raising money for Restart a Heart.
Local schools were asked to raise £50 which would make a significant difference to work done by the NHS.
Our students raised £552 in a multitude of activities from Raffles, Student tuck shops and Form time activities. Dixons Cottingley Student VPs, especially Zara Abid and Faira Irfan (Pictured) lead the fundraising and hope to emulate this again on a larger scale this year.
We presented a cheque to the West Yorkshire Ambulance Service for £552 - well done to Dixons Cottingley students!
