Our academy is now closed for summer. We look forward to welcoming Year 7 and Year 11 students on Monday 1 September and all other year groups on Tuesday 2 September.

Vice Principal - Quality of Education and Outcomes

Tom grew up in Lincolnshire and attended King Edward VI Grammar School before gaining a Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering studying at the University of Leeds and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  Tom has spent multiple years travelling every continent prior to returning to Leeds where he took his first teaching position as an NQT maths teacher at Leeds West Academy. Tom spent six years here moving to a middle leader in his third year before taking a sabbatical.  On his return he became a middle leader at Swallow Hill which later turned into Dixons Unity Academy. Tom then joined the trust central team as an assistant principal before joining Dixons Cottingley Academy in 2022.
