Year 7 intake in September 2021
The national offer date for school places is Monday 1 March 2021. Parents who completed the local authorities Common Application/Preference Form (CAF/CPF) will be advised by the local authorities of the school allocated to their child on this date.
All pupils requiring a place at Dixons Cottingley were allocated one. It is possible that a small number of places may become available in the coming months. If you are interested in your child attending Dixons Cottingley, you can add your child’s name to the waiting list by completing and returning the Bradford local authority Waiting List form; this is available from the downloads section below.
If a place becomes available it will be filled from the waiting list in the order of the oversubscription criteria (see Admissions & Appeals policy).
If you have not yet completed a local authority Common Application Form (CAF) you should complete the Late Preference form available below. If you completed a CAF but did not make 5 preferences then you can complete the Additional Preference form, also available below.
If you wish to apply for a place for your child at Dixons Cottingley mid-year, applications should be made through the Bradford Admissions team.
To apply, you will need to complete an In-Year Common Application Form (ICAF) for the local authority in order to be eligible for a place if a vacancy occurs. The form and more information about the process is available from www.bradford.gov.uk/education-... or you can request for a form to be sent to you by e-mailing: email@example.com or by telephoning 01274 439200.
If a vacancy does occur, we will look at the local authority waiting list and prioritise children in accordance with the oversubscription criteria (as stated in the Admissions & Appeals policy available from the Downloads section below).
Should you have any questions about the Admissions process please contact the Academy via: e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01274 567281
