Designated Senior Leader with responsibility for Home Learning
The government expectation is that the academy has a senior leader which oversees the home learning provision in the academy. The senior leader which has been designated with responsibility for home learning is Ms Katie Knighton. If you have any concerns regarding the home learning provision please direct these queries to the Heads of Year in the first instance who will be able to support you. If your concern are not addressed please speak to Ms Knighton.
Family support
During the academy closure we are aware some families may experience difficulties and require support from staff within the academy. In those instances please contact us via e-mail safeguarding@dixonsco.com

Family Hubs
There are 4 family hubs in Bradford (Bradford West, Bradford East, Bradford South and Keighley and Shipley) that can provide a range
of services and support to families.
These family hub teams will be responsible for:
- early childhood development and school readiness
- children’s centres for children under five and their families
- targeted work with individual children and families (Families First)
- parenting support through all age ranges (children aged from birth to 19 or 25 with a disability)
- family and maternal health and mental health
- early education and free childcare
- education attendance
- providing positive activities for young people
- health and wellbeing
- diversity and cohesion
